RESPECT THE CYCLIST
What do the racing cyclist, the amateur biker, the cycle tourist and the simple urban user of two wheels have in common, who often travels alone, without wallet or documents, for passion or for work?
A shared need: to be able to make your personal information available even when you are alone.
Those who cycle can find themselves, to varying degrees, in unexpected or emergency situations.
From this awareness was born RESPECT THE CYCLIST: a resin sticker equipped with a unique QR Code, a simple solution that allows you to associate a digital identifier with the helmet that can be consulted via smartphone.
Information entered voluntarily by the user can be linked to the cyclist's identity, such as:
-
personal data (photograph, ICE numbers);
-
any health indications;
-
copies of documents.
If necessary, anyone who scans the QR code can access the information made available and find the contact details.
The system is connected to the ICE-KEY PLUS application/platform: by framing the QR code it is possible to consult the data entered by the user and, if configured, activate notifications to the indicated contacts.
Consultation of the information depends on the compatibility of the device used and the initiative of the person doing the scanning.
RESPECT THE CYCLIST is a voluntary tool that allows cyclists to make their information available in a simple and immediate way.
Because, in unexpected situations, having access to data can make the difference.
A QR on the helmet. Your information, when it can be really useful.
