HOW TO USE ICE-KEY

Welcome to ICE-KEY PLUS

The ICE-KEY PLUS application is designed to be simple, fast and intuitive.
Follow these steps to set up your profile and pair your device.

1. Create your account

Bring your smartphone closer to your ICE-KEY. Download the app (iOS or Android) and create your profile by entering:

  • Email

  • Passwords

You will receive an OTP code via email to verify your account.
Enter the code into the app to complete registration.

2. Enter your personal data

Fill in the requested information:

  • Name

  • Surname

  • Genre

  • Date of birth

  • Country of birth

This data is necessary to correctly identify you in an emergency.

3. Add a photo of yourself

You can add a photograph of your face:

  • uploading it from your phone gallery

  • or by taking a new one with your camera

The photo helps rescuers quickly identify you.

4. Enter any medical information

In the Medical Information section you can add useful health data in case of emergency.

Insertion is not mandatory: you will decide what information to share.

Drop-down menus help you easily select the most important information.
The selected information will be automatically translated into available languages ​​using appropriate medical-scientific terminology.

Information entered manually will remain in the original language.

5. Your digital document holder

With ICE-KEY PLUS you can create a small personal digital document holder, always available in case of emergency.

In this section you can save important documents that could be useful to rescuers or people who assist you.

You can easily upload:

  • documents in PDF format

  • photographs taken with the smartphone camera

  • images present in the phone gallery

For example you can archive:

  • identity document

  • health card

  • driving license

  • insurance

  • medical certificates

  • other useful documents

The inclusion of documents is not mandatory.

For each document you can decide how to manage its visibility:

  • Visible in emergency – the document can be consulted in case of emergency access

  • Protected – the document will remain saved in your profile but will not be visible during emergency access

6. Add emergency contacts

Enter at least one emergency contact.

These people can be contacted or consulted by rescuers if necessary.

7. Connect your ICE-KEY device

To pair your device:

  1. bring the smartphone closer to the device

  2. choose whether to scan the NFC tag or the QR Code (if present)

  3. wait for the pairing completed message

8. Manage your devices

If you have multiple ICE-KEY devices you can associate them all with your profile.

In the Devices section you can:

  • see all connected devices

  • add new ones

  • disable them temporarily

  • remove them from your profile

✅ Your ICE-KEY profile is now ready.

In the event of an emergency, the information you choose to share can be quickly consulted by rescuers via NFC or QR Code.
